we are influenced by classic rock riffs and 90s grunge rock. sprinkle in a true appreciation for metal and punk rock and you have, us. an open minded, eclectic group of music makers.
Our Story
iris lies is based out of Newtown, ct and have been on the local brewery and bar circuit for several years now.
iris lies was formed as a duo with Andrew sirois and Maggie ferrari, having played music together for close to 30 years. later, it evolved to adding long time friend, and guitarist Chris Desbiens and the search for drums and bass began. Jon Kinne and Steve cannella rounded out iris lies as you hear them, today.
their original music debuted in 2024 with their album "mirrors". they are going back into the studio, winter 2026
